Dataset Information
The European Space Agency (ESA) produced a freely accessible global land cover map with a 10 m spatial resolution. It is based on Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellite data. https://esa-worldcover.org/en
The ESA WorldCover map includes 11 land cover classes. The classes are defined using the Land Cover Classification System (LCCS) developed by the United Nations (UN) Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
